1. A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required at the time of booking to confirm your party date. The remaining amount must be paid in full no later than 7 days before the scheduled event.


2. Cancellations must be made more than 7 days prior to the party/hire date. If your party is cancelled within a 7 day period, 50% of the total cost will be charged. Full refunds will not be issued for cancellations made within 7 days of your party/hire date, though rescheduling is allowed. 


3. To change your booking date, please provide at least seven (7) days’ notice. Changes are subject to availability.


4. Setup, styling, delivery and pack-up are included in the full set-up package price, unless the event location is beyond the complimentary delivery zone—30km from our Greytown, Wairarapa base.


5. Delivery and pickup times will be arranged between Meezee Teepee Parties and the Customer at least 3 days before the event. A $25 late fee will be charged if the Customer is not present at the agreed time. Our team will only enter the premises if the homeowner is present or has provided us with written access instructions.


6. Customers are responsible for the care of all hired equipment and for supervising children around it. Meezee Teepee Parties is not liable for injuries or damages resulting from equipment use. We are not responsible for any injury, illness, death, damage, or expense resulting from: a) The actions of the affected person(s) or any members of their party; b) A third party not associated with the party or our services, which could not be anticipated; c) Unforeseeable events or circumstances beyond our control.


7. No slime, glue, markers, nail polish, makeup, food or drinks, should be used or consumed in or around the teepees. If stains/sticky substances are found on any items, a $50 cleaning fee will be charged. If any of our items are permanently stained or damaged, a replacement fee will apply. We will contact Customers regarding any damage.


8. Pets are strictly prohibited from interacting with Meezee Teepee Parties equipment. If pet hair or animals are found on any items, a $25 cleaning fee will be charged.


9. The designated event area must be cleared of furniture before our arrival. Our team is not permitted to move furniture. Floors must also be clean prior to setup.


10. Staff will park as close as possible to the setup area, typically in the driveway. While our team will exercise caution, it is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure pets and children are safely managed during arrival.


11. We reserve the right to cancel a booking upon arrival if the environment is deemed unsafe or unhygienic for our equipment. No refund will be issued in such cases.


12. We reserve the right to decline service to any location that may pose a safety risk to our staff.


13. Meezee Teepee Parties is not liable for personal injury, death, or property damage unless proven to be caused by defective materials, poor workmanship, or negligence on our part. All decisions made by Meezee Teepee Parties regarding the above terms are final.
